cohost should introduce a bug wherein if you're on poor cell service and your photo upload times out, it just publishes your text post without the picture, forcing you to scramble to either re-upload it or hide the post, and meanwhile you get roasted in the comments and screenshotted because your post looks completely unhinged without the image. i hope they'll put this bug on the road map

cohost jpg uploader that scans the image top to bottom left to right so people who lose signal mid-upload get the slow scan TV / "the space vehicle has impacted the asteroid and here is the last frame it sent" style images

Japanese Australia

Friend of mine went to an Australian WW2 museum, and there was a bunch of propaganda about Japanese invasion. They'd taken Australia's outlying possessions and were threatening the mainland.

Now this is a strictly "fascism bad" cohost, but imagine just the language of a Japanese-occupied Australia. A language with multiple distinct formality levels mixing with a language where "cunt" is a pronoun. Takoyaki Sangas. Baz-senpai. G'day Ojou-sama. Shouganai cunt.
